Hello Hamish and others, Thank you for your thoughts on this. By doing what you suggested, I was able to record the windows media stream. I had practiced a bit, before trying to record the program I was wanting, and when I got ready to record the actual program, I turned off Jaws. It was working well, until unfortunately we had a small power outage. I only had about a half an hour of the show left too. Of course it would happen then. Thanks again, Terri
