hi Terri, you have to set up your profile first. the information you need to put in is as follows: full name, your real name, them your birthday, use the jaws cursor to press the button which then will bring up a combo box and you have to select dates by moving left or right and up and down. then the language if you press the letter e, you will get to English. state province, just type it in to the edit field. office phone, same as above. mobile phone. email. sex this a drop down box. then the country you live in. then the city. home phone. home page. about, this where you can type in a short description of yourself. then you have a my picture button, where you can search your hd if you have a picture of yourself. when done, press the update button. my suggestion is to create a profile and change it as you see fit. note I'm not using jaws but hal and skype is a cracking program. hth ----- Original Message ----- From: TerriStimmel To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, October 02, 2004 11:18 PM Subject: Need help with Skipe
Hello everyone, Can someone give me some tips on how to use Skipe? I downloaded it last night, and I've been trying to figure it out, but there are things that are confusing to me. First of all, I'm not exactly sure which version I should be using. I found some information on the JFWLite site, and I downloaded the scripts that were there. However, the program wasn't there, or the link didn't work to be exact. Anyway, that version was a beta version. So anyway, I got the version I have installed from the Skipe website. I've been trying to find people to add, but I think what I'm seeing in the dialog boxes aren't correct. I'm being told they are one thing, when they are actually something else. For instance, it might say email, but that's not the box where you would type the email address. I am using Jaws 5. If anyone can help me figure this out then I'd appreciate it.
