Hi Andrea,

I have a Tascam stand-alone ce burner connected to my main stereo system and
anything that I can put through the stereo can be burned on to a cd.

This means my cassette deck, cd carousel, am/fm receiver, turntable and even
the music choice and tv programs from my DirecTv satellite receiver can go
to cd anytime I want.

The Tascam 700 is rather expensive, but I found the best price at Sam Ash
Music. They have an 800 number as well as a website. The 800 number is
472-6274.

Tascam has come out with a newer model than the 700, but I don't know if it
is as easy for a blind person to use.

I really like mine and I've made some cool cd's.

Subject: CD Recorder

Is there such a beast ie. an appliance that can be connected say to a tape
deck and record direct to a cdr disc?
If such a recorder does exist, will it cost some small portion of the
national debt topurchase?
Cheers
Andrea

When you have eliminated the impossible.
whatever remains, however improbable,
must be the truth.
