If you know where all of the files are just delete them with internet explorer and then go into realplayer under the tools menu and select the "rem old or missing media option".

Is there a way to purge all entries currently in My Library, before running a new scan to rebuild it? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tim Grady" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Sometimes the library might become corrupted and this will cause problems
when you choose the burn/transfer option of the view menu. Choose the "my
library" option under the view menu once in a while just to make sure the
library isn't corrupt. Real player will rebuild the library under this
option.

Thanks for the Tip. I haven't seen the option you speak of,under the view menu. But I'll explore further.

What precisely do you have in mind when you say to be sure to have My library set up correctly? In the general preferences, I have My Library defined as the folder in which I keep all my music files: E:\My Music. Under the My Library preferences, I have the folder structure and file naming conventions set the way I want them. What else is there to be careful of doing correctly?

Thanks, again.

Blessed Be,

Dana

Yes. Just make sure your library is set up right before you do this. Hit
the alt-v key and choose burn-transfer. When you pick it you can choose
what you want from your library and tell it that you want to burn a cd(do
that first) and click burn cd. Oh, you need to tell it what kind of cd.

Subject: Burning with RealPlayer

For a few days now, I've been downloading tracks from the RealPlayer 10 Music Store, burning them to CD - which has to be done in RealPlayer Premium - , and ripping them off as .wav files. It's been working well, and the quality of the tracks is excellent! But I have one major problem (aside from the cost <grin>). When the tracks I want to burn are loaded in RealPlayer and ready to be burned, the "burn your Tracks" button has to be click with the JAWS cursor, and it's rather hard to find in JAWS cursor mode. Does anyone know of an easier way to start a burn in RealPlayer 10? Is there a key stroke, or something else I don't know about?

Thanks.

Blessed Be,

Dana
