Hi. I have a lap top with only a mike input and an ear phone jack. How do I record some audio from an external source to the computer? My 1 and only idea as of now is to purchase an attenuator chord but I'm not sure that's what I need to do. For those of you who know the answer, I'm embarrassed to ask the question because it sounds so basic. But I'll ask any way since I'd like the answer. I'm used to thinking of recording audio with a mixer and I think this is part of what is confusing me. I hope all are having a great day. Randy Black

Subject: problem recording with CDex Hi all! I bought a patch chord, and hooked my handy cassette to the computer, but the sound is only coming out of the left speaker. Also, the recording picks up jaws in the right speaker. How do I make the sound come out of both speakers, and how to I keep jaws out of the recording? Thanks!
