Well folks I took the plunge and ordered the edirol r1. I Bought it and had it shipped next day so I can play with it this weekend. I ordered it from sound professionals and with some high capacity NIMH batterys I should get double the time out of the recorder. I all so purchased a two gig compact flash card. Wish me luck.
