Anita, from the Winamp main window, press alt-l. Then, tab three times. This will place you in an edit field into which you can type the search string you want to find. However, it will search only the subsection of the library highlighted on the treeview that is one tab back from the edit field. And, this treeview is very difficult to negotiate in the new version of Winamp. JAWS continually loses its focus when you tab away from this treview and back to it. You continually have to use the JAWS cursor to find this tree view once again, and route pc to JAWS. This is the major reason (but not the only one) why I think the Winamp library is more trouble than it's worth. but, if you want to try to figure it out, skype me over the weekend, and I'll try to talk you through it.
