Hi Dana,
Just a thought,what if you get the actual name of the soundcard in question,
and then use the Windows search for *.ini files,
and include the name of your  soundcard in the containing text  field of the
search.
It may not yield the results you want, but it's a start, and you might get
lucky.

I want to force Windows system sounds to play through a sound card other
than my Windows system default sound card. does anyone know how to do this,
