HI everyone, Is it possible to use two sound cards with Windows XP Home? When I install my second soundcard, it works beautifully. But, the computers default sound is now disabled, and does not even show up in control panel or Volume Control dialogs.
My second card is an older card. In fact, I bought it in 2001, maybe 2002, I believe, so might a newer card work better. Or, as I suspect, is this a computer bios issue? The reason I am wanting to use two sound cards is that I have to use software speech now, since my old doubletalk internal obviously can't be used with the new system. And I want to have JFW play through one card, and have the computer system sounds and other audio play through the other. It is a little difficult to record such things as streaming audio while JFW is chattering away. Thanks in advance for any suggestions and/or advice. ~Ann _______________________________________________ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] This list is a service of MosenExplosion.com.
