David, Yes, it sounds just like your other soundcard. This is exactly what my soundcard does.
In speaking to Jonathan Mosen, he stated he had a soundcard just like yours, and he had to change drivers or something in order to correct the one checkbox problem. He doesn't remember how he achieved this, however. Unfortunately, I need both the mic and line in ports to work independently of each other.
