Hi All. How many sockets does you Sound Blaster Live sound card have on it?
Some have five sockets and some have four sockets on them. In order for your microphone to work you first need to plug the microphone in to the microphone socket on the sound card. Then you need to go in to the volume control properties and make sure that the microphone option is selected in the playback and recording options. The reason why you can not find What You Hear Is What You Get is because it is located on the recording volume control properties and it is unchecked by default. To make what you hear is what you get to show up in the recording volume control options you need to check this option with the spacebar and then tab to the ok button and press enter. Once you have press enter on the ok button what you hear is what you get will show up in the recording volume controls. Many Thanks. Karen.
