Hi all, I have recently bought a Dell Inspiron 700m laptop. Its a good one but for a single problem. The laptop's fan starts rotating, there is a hissing sound in the audio input. So, the other party gets to hear this sound and they say it is quite pronounced. Has anyone used this laptop so far and have you faced this problem?
Secondly, I have about 100 tapes that I would like to convert to digital audio and I only have this laptop to do it on. I am thinking of buying a SoundBlaster PC-MCIA card.
