Hi Catherine If you're having trouble making a skype call and you get an error message about your recording device, it most likely means that you may have the wrong one selected. go into your skype program, go to tools, options and then go to sound devices. You should be able to choose your sound card from there and have it point to a specific one on your system. you can even have it set so if you get a skype call, you can have the ring sound that happens come from your pc speakers, but the output of skype will go to your USB headphones, because Windows thinks of that USB Mic/headset as another sound device. the other thought is that you may not have your headphones plugged in properly. Make sure they're connected. Yeah I know, that's a pretty obvious one, but you'd be surprised. Never hurts to check everything.
