The delay isn't that significant, besides that it sure beats using a cell phone. In order to make it work properly you would have to use DSL or cable. I have listened to remotes being done with the use of a lap top, and believe it or not the quality of the remote was surprisingly very good These were cut ins and I am not sure whether they were recorded at the remote and sent back to the station as an audio file to be opened by the radio automation.
