Thanks to everyone for all their help. I found an E-mail contact for Creative Labs who advise that there is a basic driver with MS-Windows but they say that I cannot connect up my TOSLINK cable to the digital out. I have a little converter which came with my TOSLINK cable, I think that it goes from a 3.5 jack to the TOSLINK connector type, I am not sure why I can't use this really but am sure that I am missing something completely.
