I ran it with different books and it seemed to convert just fine here and I note no pauses but then again I have the speech rate fairly fast. I also have quite a fast machine and that may make some difference. I think it's cool the feller is giving away free codes. It's a great little full featured editor. While parts of the program are in Italian most functions are understandable so that shouldn't be a problem for you. You can translate material in to quite a number of languages and that is impressive in itself so I can write a letter in English here and translate it in to German or Spanish as an mp3 and the speech will speak the text in the chosen language. I have several other conversion programs such as Text Aloud and Saypad but this one here is one of the fastest I've used for converting. I am quite impressed with this tool and I do recommend it.
