Hi all. I am purchasing an Optic Fibre cable and intend to run this from my AV unit in one room, through the wall, and into my Creative Soundblaster external 24 bit sound card. At the moment I am using the minijack plug via the line-in facility. I have been advised that the Soundblaster has an optic connection which serves for both in and out, though to change this, requires sighted assistance.
Anyone on the list who is currently managing this task and could give me some advise please? Best wishes.
