Gary, You need an isolation transformer. Radio Shack used to sell them and I think they still do.
It is a cylindrical shaped device that is perhaps three and a half inches long and an inch and a half in diameter. There is a pair of cables coming out of each end with RCA male plugs on them. Connect it between the preamp and the computer. You'll most likely need some kind of adaptors depending on the type of connections on the output of your preamp and the inputs to your computer.
