Bruce, don't know but I think it's the keyboard commands are like those of a 
word processor. You can go through the sound file by using the page up and 
down keys, by small amounts with the left and right arrow, scrub easily, 
things like that. The page up and down is a big thing for me since I use it 
a lot doing editing of very big files. I can hit space bar play, and page up 
or down and hear the audio advance very quickly. The only way I know to do 
that in Goldwave is to hit the fast forward function key which for a big 
file isn't really fast enough for me. I do not use SF for recording, just 
editing.

I use SF6 haven't upgraded.
