Yes, and no. Yes, because most broadcast plug-ins convert the audio source to either MP3, Ogg Vorbis, or WMA. No, because I don't think there's a broadcast tool that will broadcast packets in native FLAC mode, although I could be wrong about that. The thing is, if you did broadcast in native FLAC mode, you'd need a lot more Internet bandwidth to carry it because it's not compressed in any way, which, of course, MP3 and all the rest are.
