I am also trying to burn audio discs with Windows Media player, and go through the same tabbingto the start burn. The files are in the library container and the burn seems to begin, but, after about 5 minutes, I get the message, close Windows ... space bar to activate. After another minute, Windows Media player unavailable. The files are not burned to the disc in audio format. Hi Alex I have used Windows Media player to burn WMA files to CD by cutting and copying in to the CD directory. I then just selected write to CD and Windows Media Player just automatically started up and preformed the task.
