Actually, the subscribe info for Brian's list is now [email protected] with the word subscribe in the subject. I just subscribed this week and found out the hard way that the Blind iPod list was no more. I actually vaguely recall the switch but had forgotten it. Are you using a USB hub? If so, you might try plugging your iPod directly into your PC. I'm no USB expert though.

I think you might have more luck with this question on a list specifically for iTunes and the iPod. I usually send people to the Portable Player Portal at http://www.hartgen.org/blindipod.html, but that site doesn't appear to be up right now. You can try sending a message to [email protected] with the word "subscribe" in the subject line.

Hi,

I'm attempting to put songs on someones Ipod Shuffle 2nd gen. The computer keeps saying USB device not recognized. So, I tried connecting it to a wall charger for a little while; no go. I've also tried going to device manager and disabling "power USB if not in use, etc" and still nothing - restarted various times. Finally I downloaded and installed the ipod reset utility. Thing is, I have no idea how to use it, it says to click on the reset button, well its not letting me do that.
any ideas?
Thanks
