You should be able to find it in the library view and delete it. Another
thing you may want to consider is just deleting your WMP library and
starting from scratch. This won't delete your music and WMP will rescan your
music and rebuild your library next time it starts. The instructions are at

Okay..here's an update for ya: I've established that the CD in question is
somehow in the WMP library.  But how do I get to it?  It's still (as far as
I can tell)..not anywhere on my computer!  I've done a search, using the
Windows utility..and no soap; it isn't there (not according to the search!
