First, before inserting the CD, start WMP and click on the Rip Menu button and make sure "Rip CD Automatically when Inserted" is not checked.
Now insert your CD. If you need to, click on the Rip button in WMP. Tab down to the list view. You should see all of the tracks for your CD and they should all be checked. Uncheck the tracks you don't want copied and tab down to the "Start Rip" button. -- Christopher [email protected] -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Tom Kaufman Sent: Wednesday, December 02, 2009 2:57 PM To: PC Audio Discussion List Subject: Re: CD Ripping Question I'm using Windows Media 11...sorry! It works fine..except I don't know how to make it just rip the tracks I want--smile! In a way, I almost don't mind ripping a whole CD; it's just that..don't want to be taking up more space than I need to!
