Again, you're saying that my/our money isn't as good as the next persons. If you'd bother to Google, you'd see that I am not the only person having problems with Creative. As of now they appear to be a derelict company. So far we've had one person claiming that her product works but she wwill not offer us the steps she takes to make it so, which in my estimation means that she may very possibly be fabricating. Then we have somebody else saying essentially that "there must be a solution."
I have a right to warn people against buying what for us as blind people may in fact be garbage. If you don't like it, throw me off the list. I've spen three solid days trying to find a workaround. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of DJ DOCTOR P Sent: Thursday, December 03, 2009 5:28 PM To: PC Audio Discussion List Subject: Re: Continuing saga of Creative Labs. High all list members, In the world of electronics, there is no such word as the word can't. Where there is a will, there is a way. I had an old computer that had an old M AUDIO sound card in it. I couldn't get at the tone controls for the world using Jaws 6.1. But I found a work around, I got someone in Daytona Beach Florida, to write scrip's for me to make the sound card do what I wanted it to do. The same principle very well, could be applied to the Creative Lab sound cards. Yes I agree the manufacturers should listen to the people that use their products, but that doesn't always happen. This is why we have to be faithful for the people that are smart enough to find work arounds for us to use. Try looking for a suitable solution before you give upon the problem. My best regards to you all!
