If you're using Windows Media Center, I don't think you have to worry too
much about the card so long as it's compatible with Media Center. The real
action's with the software. As I understand it, the problem with some cards
like Hauppauge is when you try to rely on the provided software instead of
Windows.
Even with Windows, the initial set up is best accomplished with some sighted
help.
