I plugged in USB headphones now games that use SAPI voices or a bible software package that will read the text with SAPI won't use the SAPI. In the games I can hear the windows sounds, etc. but not the SAPI telling me what is happening in the game.

In fact, I think this is the normal behavior for | Windows, i.e. if you plug in a USB sound card then it'll become the | default audio device. | | | -- | | Christopher | [email protected] | | | On 4/29/2010 1:17 PM, Dean Masters wrote: | > Is there some setting to let SAPI voices from programs besides screen | > readers to be heard through a USB headphone? | > | > thanks, | > | > Dean | > | > | | To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: | [email protected] To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [email protected]
