I have posted this problem in the past but have not found a solution. I am presently using Winamp 5.57 although the below problem has been present with the more recent versions of Winamp, not just 5.57.
None of the recent versions of Winamp will play .wav files on this XP home system. I just tested several .wav files, all of which would play using Studio Recorder, GoldWave, or Total Recorder. I haven't checked Windows Media player. I sure would appreciate knowing the solution to this problem. Thanks in advance for ideas.
