I assume you're talking about the CC Witness radio? If so I just looked at the manual and unless you can see it or have someone handy who can I don't think you can use it. Everything appears to be menu driven including switching from Am to Fm. You might be able to record at the touch of a button but it doesn't look like much else is accessible.
