Go to options on the tools menu. Go to the rip music tab. The first thing you'll find is the change button. This allows you to change the location where ripped music is placed. So go in there and make it whatever you want. ----- Original Message ----- From: "joe bollard" <[email protected]>

Subject: advice needed

hello friends, let me start by explaining what my problem is, i have an external hard drive, i want to rip 20 CD's of music on to it, i'm using windows media player, at present the discks are being ripped on to a folder that WMP creates itself and calls it "my music" which is not on the external hard drive, that's not where i want them to go, i'm using jaws 11 and windows xp i don't want to have to copy all the disks to the hard drive, i want the disks to go directly there, is there any way i can tell WMP to create the file on the external hard drive which incidentally is my F drive, i don't mind changing from WMP and trying some other software if necessary, i do have more disks that i will be ripping in the near future, hope i'm making myself clear, hope someone can help, regards from ireland, joe.
