I know there was something like that written by someone in Italy I think.
The interface was also in Italian if I remember correctly.

But it would still be usuable with a bit of practice.

There used to be a bit of software called biblos I am not sure I have the
spelling correct.

Anyway this software used the eloquence from Jaws,  it will not use any
other voices on your computer just jaws I used to use this but no longer use
it.  it did work well Google it and you might still get it.
