Thanks for the information. Somehow, I avoided the Ask toolbar or at least was able to delete it. Too bad about the lack of higher bit rates as it is otherwise a good product.

However, I found out that with the new version, you can not opt out of the Ask toolbar during installation. And the Ask toolbar is very difficult to eliminate. You need a program like Revo Uninstaller. Therefore, unless you have an earlier version that lets you say no to the Ask toolbar, or unless you want the Ask toolbar, I can no longer recommend Format Factory. By the way, you're correct about the low bit rate.
