Tim I tried to install it by removing the original screw that holds the yeti in place. Thisis what I understand from what you are saying.
But that iron bracket only has a hole on one side. Also the bracket is just a few millimetres too small so that you cannot fit it inside the bracket to turn the screw through the bracet into the microphone itself. Am I doing something wrong? -----Original Message----- From: Pc-audio [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of tim cumings Sent: 16 September 2013 09:02 PM To: PC Audio Discussion List Subject: Re: installing a pop filter Content preview: Andre I think as long as it will stay in one place while you're using the microphone it may work fo you. ----- Original Message ----- From: "André van Deventer" To: "'PC Audio Discussion List'" Sent: Monday, September 16, 2013 2:59 PM Subject: RE: installing a pop filter [...] Content analysis details: (-2.3 points, 5.0 required) pts rule name description ---- ---------------------- -------------------------------------------------- 0.4 STOX_REPLY_TYPE STOX_REPLY_TYPE 0.0 FREEMAIL_FROM Sender email is commonly abused enduser mail provider (thcumings[at]comcast.net) -0.0 SPF_PASS SPF: sender matches SPF record -0.8 RP_MATCHES_RCVD Envelope sender domain matches handover relay domain -0.0 RCVD_IN_DNSWL_NONE RBL: Sender listed at http://www.dnswl.org/, no trust [76.96.62.96 listed in list.dnswl.org] -1.9 BAYES_00 BODY: Bayes spam probability is 0 to 1% [score: 0.0000] -0.1 DKIM_VALID_AU Message has a valid DKIM or DK signature from author's domain -0.1 DKIM_VALID Message has at least one valid DKIM or DK signature 0.1 DKIM_SIGNED Message has a DKIM or DK signature, not necessarily valid X-Spam-Flag: NO X-BeenThere: [email protected] X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.15 Precedence: list Reply-To: PC Audio Discussion List <[email protected]> List-Id: PC Audio Discussion List <pc-audio_pc-audio.org.pc-audio.org> List-Unsubscribe: <http://pc-audio.org/mailman/options/pc-audio_pc-audio.org>, <mailto:[email protected]?subject=subscribe> List-Post: <mailto:[email protected]> List-Help: <mailto:[email protected]?subject=lp> List-Subscribe: <http://pc-audio.org/mailman/listinfo/pc-audio_pc-audio.org>, <mailto:[email protected]?subject=bscribe> Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Type: text/plain; charset=so-8859-1"; Format=lowed" Errors-To: [email protected] Sender: "Pc-audio" <[email protected]> X-OutGoing-Spam-Status: No, score=.7 X-AntiAbuse: This header was added to track abuse, please include it with any abuse report X-AntiAbuse: Primary Hostname - hwa2.ultrahost.us X-AntiAbuse: Original Domain - webafrica.org.za X-AntiAbuse: Originator/Caller UID/GID - [47 12] / [47 12] X-AntiAbuse: Sender Address Domain - pc-audio.org X-Get-Message-Sender-Via: hwa2.ultrahost.us: acl_c_authenticated_local_user: mailman/mailman Andre I think as long as it will stay in one place while you're using the microphone it may work fo you. ----- Original Message ----- From: "André van Deventer" <[email protected]> To: "'PC Audio Discussion List'" <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, September 16, 2013 2:59 PM Subject: RE: installing a pop filter Tim I have it screwed to the back of the flat stand but it seems not to be very sturdy?
