Okay before we go any further on this topic and to avoid confusion, there are 2 
ways you can set up Witopia's VPN, you can use the Windows/Mac software that 
Witopia provide or you can manually set up the VPN as required.

I prefer the manual setup as the Windows client didn't seem to be too 
accessible though again others may have played with the client longer than I 
did, I favoured the manual setup as that method works for all platforms though 
instructions different slightly depending on the platform you're using.

In Windows you set up your VPN server through a new "Dial-up Connection" from 
memory though I'm not sure whether that's the same with Windows 8.

Whatever and however the setup, you'll find full and detailed step-by-step 
instructions on the Witopia web site at <http://www.witopia.net> and their 
support is first-class available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
