How would you rate this app in terms of accessibility? I mean things like labeled buttons and well you know the drill. any problematic areas of the app using VO? Sounds like something I would purchase if reasonably accessible. The Denon Remote app is workable but kind of funky in terms of screen layouts so does take some patience to use sometimes.

Hi there!

For all those looking for access to your AV Receivers? Here's an App which tops
them all.

I know of the Denon Remote App which is spoken of below however you can do
better than that and get access to everything via the Roomie Remote App.

As the name suggests, Roomie is designed to control absolutely everything in
your room which is connected to your Network, if you have devices which are not
connected to your network and use infra red for remote control then you can
purchase optional infra red adapter control units to use with Roomie, these
adapters can in various forms.

For example you can get Wi-Fi compatible adapters which are a box that looks
much like a remote control. you place this device in your hand, point at the
device you wish to control and use the appropriate functions with Roomie to
complete the job.

Roomie is powerful enough to provide you with some very advanced functions. You first
download a "Design" for the particular product you're wanting to control, in
this case you'd download a design for the Yamaha or Denon receiver using the App. Once
you have the design you can edit it to your specific needs and requirements, make a
duplicate so you have both the original to fall back on and an updated design specific to
your needs etc.

The second powerful function is the "Activities" where multiple functions for
different pieces of equipment can be defined under one activity or more.

For example suppose you have an activity called "Watch Television", you can
have Roomie turn on the TV, turn on the AV Receiver, Dim the lights, turn on the heating,
close the blinds and so on.

I bought this App for IOS from the Apps Store for $10.00 which covers one room,
the version for $25.00 covers multiple rooms in your house.

Jim,

Check out the Denon AVR series of receivers. I have an AVR3311 and have total
access to it via it's browser interface. You just point your browser to the
receiver's IP address. I also use an app on my iPhone called Denon Remote App
but no idea if there's an Android version of it. HTH.

Anyone have or used this YAMAHA RX-V773WABL 7-Channel AV Receiver with WiFi
Adapter? Is the android app accessible?

If there is a receiver out there that is accessible from android app and or
pc web browser I'm interested in learning about it.

Thanks.
