The Soundlink Mini is indeed a personal listening system, I use it when I'm 
reclining on my lounge, sounds very nice sitting on the arm rest when I'm 
listening to music, talking books or whatever.

Another question I'm asked is how would I rate the Soundlink III as compared to 
the Soundlink Air which I've had for over a year now.

The Soundlink III is excellent for its size as far as quality of sound goes but 
the Soundlink Air still sounds a little more natural but its a close thing and 
after all the Soundlink Air is slightly larger.

Has anyone played about with any of the Soundtouch models? That's the next goal 
I'm aiming for.
