Try plantronics headphones they sound great for music in stereo iI don't about how they would sound with the tv audio they have flat controls like pannels that you push. The mike is not that great but if you don't need it they should be just fine. I like the corded version of the plantronics as I am not afand of wireless devices but thats just my opinion They cost about 100 dollars I hope this helps.

Hi

Ok many thanks for this, it is odd as you would think sony
being one of the most well known brands that it would be
better quality, ok thanks. I will forward this on.

Subject: Re: looking for wifi headphones

Beware a few things.
First, WiFi headphones aren't actually WiFi. Wireless,
yes. WiFi,
definitely not as they have no need to join a WiFi network.
Secondly,
Sony wireless headphones have a 1 year parts warranty, but
only ninety
days labor, and the labor is important as the switches in
the headbands
tend to fail. Sony wireless headphones do not have a
conventional power
switch, rather, they turn on when you place the headphones
on your head,
and that switch goes bad. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
The best maker of wireless headphones, and honestly the
only other
major manufacturer, is Sennheiser. Look for them.

Hi

We are looking for recommendations on wifi headphones for
someone with hearing problems. My dad would like some
earphones that are wifi, they are light to wear, he wants
to
use them on the tv, he has to have it really loud in
order
to hear it, also he would like some that can filter out a
lot of the back ground sound, does anyone have any ideas
please? He specifically would like some like the old
stefascope design but I have not seen these in a long
time.
Again they must be wifi and not cable as it would not be
practical, on amazon there are loads, it is hard to know
what to look for. Our neighbour has some, he plugs them
into
the tv or connects them but it is still possible to hear
the
tv even though the person is using headphones.
