I don't know if I have a Poltergeist living in my iPhone or am just particularly incompetent. But yesterday, I stated that I could not find any way to access a categories list, nor scroll through to make sure I'd seen everything. I double checked before making that statement and found it still to be the case. I signed in to Netflix on a new phone and couldn't find the genra list.
So this morning, after somebody on a dedicated iPhone list said they were able to do what I and another guy said we could not, I signed back in to Netflix, double tapped the very same button I had tried yesterday, and presto! The genra list appeared. Further, unlike in the past where the screen would not respond to flicking past the items on the first visible list, it is now the case that you can flick through an entire category list and actually play the item that has voiceover focus. You still can't scroll a page at a time with the 3-finger gesture. But at least you can traverse an entire list of items in a given category and play the one that v/o says has focus. I haven't any clue why that didn't work yesterday, since I double tapped that unlabeled button more than once and did not get a genra listing. But there you have it. Mary
