I've found an issue on one of the load balanced backend servers now, whereby you can't download patchdiag.xref but patch downloads are working fine.
Ah, right. I forgot to mention that only the xref file is affected, patch downloads worked fine for me.
I'll follow up with the SunSolve folks to get it fixed asap.
