When Extended Support is made available after the end of Premier Support period, customers will need to purchase Extended Support if they wish to access any new fixes/patches/security updates created during the Extended Support period. Extended Support is not required to access pre-existing fixes/patches/security updates that were created during the Premier Support period. Pre-existing patches/updates will remain accessible on MOS to customers with a valid Premier Support for Systems or OS base contract. Extended support is optional and available under the following pricing model: Year 1 of Extended Support: 10% additional uplift to Premier Support for Systems or OS base contract Year 2 of Extended Support: 20% additional uplift to Premier Support for Systems or OS base contract Year 3 of Extended Support: 20% additional uplift to Premier Support for Systems or OS base contract Customers are not required to purchase Extended Support until they require access to a newly released patch/update. Customers who keep their Support Agreement current can purchase Extended Support at any time during the Extended Support period. (The uplift is not retroactive to the beginning of the Extended Support period as long as the Support Agreement is current.)
