Just a couple of reminders for this weekend. A Varsity team (coed and/or women) is 3 divisions, 6 sailors, 2 boats. One division will always be on shore. Make sure you have enough sailors!
JV is the traditional 2 division, 4 sailors, 1 boat. We are not rotating boats. Your sails MUST have your school numbers prominently displayed. Schools that do not have correct sail numbers may not be scored. There are a lot of teams and a lot of boats. This is your responsibility to have the correct numbers on your sail before the weekend. If you need more than two sails worth of numbers add the front (ie 36, 37, 136, 137, 236, 237). There will not be extra numbers on site so you need to figure this out before Saturday. UCSB will likely send out instructions about trailer parking, launching, etc. Please follow those. We are guests in a public parking lot with lots of fisherman and tourists. They are also fairly aggressive about ticketing so follow all parking rules. For PCCSC Schools, we will have our scheduling meeting Sunday morning. This is when you will select your 2014 Interconference Regatta Schedule. I will send out a draft schedule tomorrow as well as a form you can use to rank your events ahead of time so you will be prepared at the meeting.
