The breeze was light in the morning and built to about ten knots by
the fifth race under sunny skies. The racing was very close making for
exciting mark roundings. The day belonged to USC winning three of the
races and finishing second to Cal Maritime in a really close finish.
LAYC race committee kept the racing going and the course perfect.
