Dear PCCSC, Stanford is excited to host Coed and Team Race PCCSC champs next weekend Friday- Saturday (April 28-29) for Coed’s and Sunday (April 30) for Team Racing. We are working hard to get ready for the two regattas. Here is some important information for your planning for the championships.
Coed Fleet Racing- We have 11 teams registered to come 1. Danielle Richards will be the PCCSC rep and will be a jury member. Danielle will be handling your entry fees. 2. The plan is to Race 18 Races over the two days- 12 races max on day 1 and 6 races on day 2. 3. A division will start in FJ’s and B will start in z420’s for Friday. We will switch fleets on Saturday morning. 4. All racing will be in our “outside Venue” underneath Bair Island. 5. High Tide Friday is at 3:37pm which means we will be able to start sailing on this venue at 12:30 and be able to sail there till 6:30pm 6. High Tide Saturday is at 4:36pm which means we will be able to sail at 1:30pm and we can race till 4pm- as per PCCSC Rules 7. We will be sailing 3 Race sets- we are doing this so we can give one division a bathroom/food break at least once on Saturday- We will have a boat to run people in to the bathrooms at the boathouse. Team Racing PCCSC- We have 6 Teams Registered 1. Danielle Richards will be the PCCSC rep and will be an umpire member. Danielle will be handling your entry fees. 2. We plan to sail inside in our normal TR venue. 3. The plan is for a double Round Robin followed by a final 4 4. We will be using 12 z420’s and 6 FJ’s with the finals in z420’s. This mirrors what CofC has sent out for nationals. See you all next weekend!
