Attention College Sailors, The 2018 LaserPerformance Collegiate Cup will once again be hosted in Torbole, Lake Garda, Italy later this summer from August 27-Sept. 2. This annual event includes teams from all over the world competing in team racing at one of sailing’s iconic venues. The winning country/team gets an opportunity to come back the following year to defend their title, and the transportation and accommodation for the team is covered by LaserPerformance. Due to the US team’s victory at the 2017 LPCC in Campione del Garda, ICSA was awarded the opportunity to send a team back to defend its title. The team will consist of 3 skippers and 3 crews who will be selected based on resume. Applicants must also be rising juniors or seniors at their respective schools, and must not have exhausted their ICSA eligibility prior to the event.
The application deadline will be Wednesday, April 11. The team will be announced shortly thereafter.
