Teams,

Stanford is excited to host the 2018 Women’s Champs!

I will have SI’s up on Techscore by tomorrow but I’m confirming a few logistics
for the weekend.

1. Report Time both days is 9:30am

2. We will be sailing a combined division regatta as outlined by our conference
commissioner. Right now we have 7 teams signed up and so we will have 14 boats
on the line.

3. We will sail FJ’s on Saturday and z420’s on Sunday- Stay-masters will be
fixed on the z420’s.

4. We will rotate every two races on the water.

5. We will sail “outside” under Bair Island where we have normally sail fleet
races. Please bring a cooler or waterproof bag for snacks and lunches. We
will have a large coach boat that will have water and will carry the teams food.

6. Coaches will be on the water in coach boats.

7. This is not the regatta to bring your parents to, there is no viewing and we
will not be providing spectator boats. Have your parents take you out to
dinner and then send them to napa for the weekend. They deserve it!

8. We will have a boat for extra sailors but please realize they will be
sitting on a coach boat all day so please be mindful that if you have no
intention of sailing them maybe they can go to Napa with your parents.

9. The plan is to sail 7 Races on Saturday and 7 races on Sunday with some
short food breaks during rotations.

10. We will stop racing Sunday at 4:30pm or 14 races whichever comes sooner.

See you all on Saturday!

John
