PCCSC Teams, Sailors, Volunteers and Coaches:

It's hard to believe it, but our Fall season is right around the corner! If
you're on semesters, I hope that you're getting back into the groove; if
quarters, definitely enjoy these last days of summer!

As we start to look towards the fall, please take a look at the following
things to prepare for a busy fall season. Please make sure that this email
gets seen by your team leadership!

First of all, I'm always open to chatting with team leaders as they are
coming on board. If you'd like to chat to kick off the fall, please don't
hesitate to email me and set up a time for us to chat.

The below list outlines the things that each team needs to do before
competing this fall. Please scroll down to see more description of each of
these items:

   1. Register all team members in the ICSA Database
   2. Sign up for the regattas you will attend this fall
   3. Make sure that you have pinnies/jerseys as outlined in the ICSA
   procedural rules.
   4. Use PCCSC legal sails
   5. Register for a Techscore account
   6. Understand the Racing Rules of Sailing, ICSA Rules and PCCSC Standing
   Rules.

*Register Team Members in the ICSA Database*
Each sailor on your team must register with the ICSA. This is completed
through Techschore, our scoring program. Hand around a computer at your
first team meeting of the fall and make sure that each new team member has
registered. https://ts.collegesailing.org/sailor-registration

Sailors who have competed in prior seasons should login to their sailor
account and indicate their eligibility here: https://ts.collegesailing.org/

*Sign up for PCCSC Regattas*
The PCCSC Schedule is available and ready to take your sign-ups. Please
consult with your team and sign up for our fall events ASAP.

*Team Pinnies/Uniforms*
Make sure that your team has team pinnies. Team pinnies can be purchased
from lots of vendors who do great work and can give your team a good look
on the water. Email me if you need ideas of where to start here.

*PCCSC-Approved Sails*
Use PCCSC-approved sails in all regattas. Visit

for
more information.

*Techscore Account*
Make sure that someone on your team is registered for a techscore account
so that you can fill out Record of Participation (RP) forms online. These
need to be completed by the completion of the regatta and helps us track
eligibility and sailor performance for all-conference awards.

*Know the Rules*
Your team leadership should be familiar with both the ICSA and PCCSC Rules.
