Hear me out, we anyway have the SR Policy configuration happening at all peers, could we say that the PCEP association parameters (type/id/source..) need also be set by the operator. If you are worried that it would be extra configuration, there could be rules set by the operator for filling the association parameters using SRPolicy such as Assoc-type=SR-Policy, Assoc-ID/Extended Association ID=Color, Assoc-source=headend/special value.
