You can buy a 1 gig Compaq with a 17 inch monitor for less than $900 (I saw
the commercial last night) or even an iMac (also less than $900). These
computers will run all of the programs that you are struggling with on your
upgraded Power PC... (the Compaq can even run a Mac OS emulator if you want
and a new iMac can run OS X). I can see fiddling around with these
antiquated computers for 'fun'(God knows I do) but for your
children??......get them a real computer!!!
