I have some friends who are trying to get their 6360 on the web. They
have had the computer for 4 years and never done anything to it thus
it is still running 7.5.3 with a small amount of RAM and a 1.2 GB HD.
They are having trouble getting on the internet because their ISP
assumes they are running a newer machine. Thus, they need to do a
little bit of upgrading. Here are my questions:
1 I know it takes 168 pin DIMMS. Are these the same type as my 7500?
2 What is the best OS to run on this machine? Is 8.1 in the public domain yet?
3 If I reformat the drive does this machine need any special
extensions or such?
Thanks,
