Jeff,
Are you using a adapter card in a pci slot to run the
ATA drive? I've been looking into this option as well
for my 7250 server model, but I've only got 3 slots.
Right now my plan is to use one for my sonnet g3/g4
upgrade (my model uses a pci slot), one for firewire
and usb capability (combo card), and another for a
video card upgrade. I was wondering because right now
USB isn't OSX supported on our models and the only
reason I wanted the firewire was for external hd
space. Do you, or does anybody, think it's better to
forgot the old internal scsi, and usb/firewire for a
larger ata drive?
